A Parallel Track of ICSSCS 2026

    November 30, 2026 | Online

The Legal Studies and Social Governance Seminar is a parallel track within ICSSCS 2026, dedicated to exploring the intersection of legal research and social governance in contemporary societies. This seminar provides a focused platform for legal scholars, policy researchers, and practitioners to discuss how legal frameworks shape, regulate, and respond to evolving social dynamics.

Grounded in the broader theme of ICSSCS 2026 — "Bridging Theories, Cultures, and Futures" — this track examines how legal systems across different jurisdictions engage with issues of social governance, public policy, and cross-cultural justice. It invites contributions that bridge theoretical legal scholarship with practical governance challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.

Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to:

    • Legal Theory and Social Order

    Constitutional Law and Democratic Governance

    Comparative Legal Studies

Human Rights Law and Social Justice

    Legal Pluralism and Multicultural Governance

    • Governance and Public Policy

Rule of Law and Administrative Governance

    Public Policy Design and Implementation

    Regulatory Governance and Compliance

    Digital Governance and E-Government

    • Law, Society and Emerging Challenges

Law and Technology: AI, Big Data, and Legal Regulation

    Environmental Law and Sustainable Development

    Migration, Identity, and Legal Status

    Criminal Justice and Social Rehabilitation

    Gender, Equality and Legal Protection
